Lyrics + capsule and COLTEMONIKHA interview translations + contemode-related sites to follow + etc
I realized there's probably still quite a few people who come here for Nakata Yasutaka news updates on his work/the artists he produces, so I figured I'd make this post. :x Before I go into it, I do want to thank the few people who post here that always link back to my news posts on my fuckyeahystk Tumblr, I appreciate being sourced!

First of all, all of capsule's lyrics have been translated by Tumblr user renai-junkie!. She has also done all the COLTEMONIKHA lyrics here and has translated what I could save of Nakata's old-as-heck blog posts. Nakata's blog entries are being posted here, I'm kind of rationing them out because there's only so many but they'll eventually all be there and I post one every Sunday.

Next, Tumblr user roomgirl has recently done a translation of a FLASH BACK era capsule interview and also, using scans I provided, a MARQUEE interview from COLTEMONIKHA back in 2006 shortly before their debut mini-album came out. If either of those time periods/artists are favorites of yours, I highly recommend checking out those interviews! They're great.

Lastly, I wanted to put a list here of specific sites (well, really just Tumblr blogs -- social media sort of took over everything) for specific artists that are associated with Nakata Yasutaka. They're the go-tos for news updates and translations of said artists, so they're a better bet than this community. I'll throw these under a read more:

fuckyeahystk - Nakata Yasutaka fan Tumblr; I run this and I post only things pertaining to Nakata and his work (e.g., I'll reblog Perfume/Kyary news, I post capsule and Nakata solo news, I'll upload audio of anything he's made). I wrote up a ton of resources, such as a detailed biography of his career and a completely accurate discography of his work, and I answer questions etc.

capsool - capsule fan Tumblr; the owner had been on hiatus but now she's back and has translated (and continues to translate!) Koshijima Toshiko's Twitter, so if you're interested in that, this is the place to go!

kyarychan - Kyary Pamyu Pamyu fan Tumblr; excellent source for Kyary news/pictures/tour information and the curator regularly translates Kyary's Twitter! She also answers questions.

prfm - Perfume fan Tumblr; they do a good job keeping up with Perfume's activities and have a lot of resources!

I realize it kind of sucks to have to check multiple sources for news on different artists, but if you want the bare basics of all Nakata-related acts, just going to fuckyeahystk is fine. :x Also, I've heard through the woodwork that there's a lot of Perfume Facebook fan pages, so if you're interested in that there's another avenue from which to get news/participate in fan discussions.

Oh, one more thing... This isn't related to Nakata, but RAM RIDER is planning to release a new album this year. [Cheers and confetti from absolutely no one besides me and roomgirl.] He also debuted a new song at an ASOBINITE event the other night, so I'm hoping he'll play it on his internet radio show AUDIO GALAXY this coming Tuesday.
Current Music: jumper lmao

Ram Rider release news!!!! Yeahhh

There are indeed the official facebook pages where material is periodically being updated, especially photos:

Do you happen to know anything about that rumored new Perfume's single "HOLD YOUR HAND" supposed to be theme to a drama?

As far as I can tell, it's official. There's a poster up at NHK itself and multiple pictures of it bearing the information (1, 2, 3), which ruled out my initial question of whether or not it's Photoshopped. It'll be the theme song to a nighttime drama called Silent Poor which starts airing from April 8th.

Perfume is scheduled to perform on Music Japan on March 24th, so people are speculating if they'll announce the new single and possibly perform it by that taping.

Oh my god! This is thrilling and I mean it, all the new stuff announced to be released after the almost fan screening he did with the last two capsule albums.

You definitely deliver only top-quality info.
Thanks for all the info you provide to the YSTK fans!

There's something about nakata's work that is hard to find in other producers, current or former, that makes his music interesting. Perhaps the persistence or capacity of innovation that however makes his music sound kind of ageless.
Love the influence he has/had on other artists:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFdwYUxXM74

Ehh, I'm not sure I know what you're referring to by fan screening? :x

Thank you for the sentiments, though!

I resent the insinuation that no one else likes RAM RIDER because I sure do! Thanks for all of your hard work glider, roomgirl and everyone else you mentioned helping keep the west informed about our favorite acts. I'm not ashamed to admit that until about last month I still checked this site a few times a week looking for news. I say that to say every effort is definitely appreciated.
